Some bumping to spine ends and corners of gray boards which also have a few old water-marks on, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. Deals with the Battle of the Chesapeake on September 5th 1781 between ships of the British and French navies. The British defeat led to the surrender of Yorktown and American victory. Includes a review of the book from the New York Herald Tribune. 317pp. 3 maps.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
