Taylor, nd [c 1800], . . orig plain paper wraps (worn, tears, minor fraying, without spine), lightly foxed, title page chipped in margin, leaf with short tear, good complete copy in fine custom made, cloth covered box, with gilt title lettering on spine label, interior marbled p. 8vo [26 x 16 cm]; [ii], engraved title page, 55 engraved plates, some with two figures, garden plans. . An early work on garden ornament and buildings, plates being detailed, mostly with accompanying plans on lower part of sheet. Both Middleton and Elison have been named as the author. Berlin Katalog 3433. Scarce and not in the usual references. A picture of this book is available on request by email.
