Also the winner of the 1973 Gold Dagger Award for Britains best crime novel. In bright blue cloth with red, blue and gold cover designs and bright yellow topstain, the interior is clean and bright. There is the slightest of rubbing on the front endpapers, perhaps from removal of a label; otherwise Fine. The Near Fine dustjacket is price-clipped and shows spots of wear at the edges and creases, otherwise it is clean and bright. Known for his literary spy novels, Littell's other novels include "The October Circle," "Mother Russia," "The Amateur" (which was made into a feature film), "The Once and Future Spy" and "The Company." A lovely First Book by a popular writer.
