Questo esemplare è appartenuto a Ferdinando II del Portogallo (1816-1885) Principe di Sassonia Coburgo Gota le cui iniziali in oro ( Dom Fernando II) sono riportate sulle pagine di sguardie in broccato di seta rosso. Copertina in piena pergamena della seconda metà dell'ottocento dipinta in rosso e oro probabilmente opera dello stesso Principe Ferdinando II, promotore amante e dedito a tutte le forme d'arte tra cui la pittura. Tagli in oro e rosso. Antiche note manoscritte al frontespizio e timbro a secco. In buone condizioni e completo. Copertina in piena pergamena dipinta in buone condizioni generali con lievi usure ai margini e dorso. Legatura in buone condizioni.
