Sobre este artículo
London: Studio Vista, 1978. Oversize Hardback. Good/Very Good. Book is in excellent condition except for what appears to be a punch tool mark starting on page 145 and impacted to page 159, cutting a 1/4"" x 1/2"" rectangle; weird. Book is otherwise very clean with green cloth boards, gilt print at spine, decorative endpapers. Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners with a bit of wear, exterior shows no other blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. Dust jacket shows light signs of shelf wear, some chipping at the edges with a few very small tears, a scratch mark on the back. Book is lavishly illustrated with large b&w & color prints and photos throughout. Historical presentation of set and costume design as well as lots of very impressive designs of the ""modern age."" Contents include: Renaissance spectacle, From court to theatre, Rococo, neoclassical, romantic, The Diaghilev era, After Diaghilev, In Russia, Design for today, Traditional design, French style, Modern ballet and modern dance. Set designs by George Amberg, Leon Bakst, Torelli, Theatre, Mikhail, Stage, Sadler Wells, History, Historic, Development, Scene, Scenic, Illustration, Ussr, louis Falco, Dance Company, Nikolais, Les Ballets Des Champs Elysees, Max Ernst, Pablo Picasso, Jean Carzou, Yves Brayer, Marc Chagall, Bernard Dayde, Alexandre Cassandre, Mariano Mercuri, Gino Severini, Corrado Cagli, Achille Perilli, Domenico Purificato, and a great many others, often shown in large format.
