A scarce, illustrated first edition copy of Moritz Kahn's insightful detailing of the construction of industrial buildings. Moritz Kahn was a consulting engineer to architects who saw a lapse of knowledge on the construction of industrial building, thus wrote this informative and deeply illustrated book on the matter. Including fourteen in-text plates, three in-text illustrations and a further sixty-two plates to the rear. Four pages of publisher's adverts included. Collated, complete. Paper covered boards. Externally, smart. There is a small tear to the front joint and some fading to the spine. The boards are slightly marked and faded. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with some scattered spots throughout. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
