Dark green pebbled cloth binding with handwritten paper title label to spine. Staining to rear board. Slight wear to corners of boards. Good solid binding. Soiling to the final page of a few issues, text is otherwise clean throughout. German language. Previous owner's name to front free endpaper: 'D. Miller, 28th Sept 1939.' David Miller was a longstanding member of the Metropolitan Chess Club and served as Club President from 1950-1956. We have several other volumes from Miller's collection, including prize volumes from the Metropolitan Club. Miller has added notes to some of the games in this volume (mostly in pencil). Scarce. Overall condition is Very Good. Please Note: This is a heavy item and international postage will be more than the standard rate.
