First edition hardback , no dust jacket , stating first published in 1926 verso title page , blue boards with black titles to spine and front are rubbed to edges and front board has some white spotting , no inscriptions , no spine lean , no tears to pages , corners are pushed and rubbed ,both spine tips pushed with minor wear , usual page toning with age and offsetting to endpapers , a crime fiction title , not a remainder , not an ex-library copy.
