[Hood River, OR]: [n.p., ca. 1910]. One large silver gelatin photo sized 8 x 10.25 in., w/ title written w/in image, mounted on gray embossed studio board sized 11 x 14 in., rounded corners, pencil ownership annotation of B.C. Hamilton on verso, nice crisp image, w/ very faint soiling upper left corner. Fine photo of the Devil’s Punchbowl on Eagle Creek in the Columbia River Gorge, reminiscent of those shot by other contemporaneous phtoographers including the Kiser Bros., and Darius Kinsey, with this one unidentified. This one has the unusual element of a massive tree trunk laid across the falls as a walking bridge, and the walking bridge located in the Kiser Bros. photos appears in the distant background.
