Sinopsis
The Devil's Race-Track: Mark Twain's Great Dark Writings. The Best from Which Was the Dream? and Fables of Man was compiled from writings that Twain wrote in the autumn of his life. Some of his darker writings appear in this book, from personal matters to world events, and a doubtful cosmic order behind humanity. Yet this book is ever a product of Twain's unceasing optimism, which appears to lighten to the tone of this rare collection quite often.
