Sobre este artículo
Troy, New York: The Southworth Company , 1916. One book and two portfolios. Diseases of the fundus with which the physician should be familiar. Book contains text and several b&w photos, 4 colored. Portfolios contained in 2 slipcases, each portfolio secures with a string tie and houses loose 9 X 7" sheets-8 diagnostic cards and the rest stereograms (or colored stereoviews), one per page-reproduced at the bottom of a page, with explanatory text at top. Ex-library, Mass. School of Optometry. Library stamps on book are at front and rear pastedown endpprs., title page, pg. 99, 203, 303. Vol.II portfolio has ownership label on front endppr. (& #5 written on); lib.stamp on first 2 loose sheets, stamped on rear of all others. Vol.III portfolio has library stamp and some writing on front endppr. Loose sheets are in very good condition-may have light edgewear or small corner creases; a few may have some soiling, but mainly on rear sides. All the bindings (book, slipcases, portfolios) have rubbing where library label once was (not too noticeable). Book has clean pages and tight hinges. Cover has small dent on front; spine is sunned; wear overall and to edges, with tiny tear to top spine overhang; soiling/light staining to cover and light soiling to endpapers; small tear on front pastedown endppr. (repaired). Slipcases are quite worn and rubbed, rubbed to board and at top/bottom of spines and to corners (vol.II has small rubbed area at bottom edge, faint waterstain on rear)--still sound protection for portfolios. Portfolio bindings are lightly rubbed, with hint of soiling, lightly rubbed at all corners. (Someone has inked over one digit of the II & III gilt titling on front cover of each respective port. cover-probably thought they were making a correction.). Reprint. Hard Cover. Collectible-Good. Small 4to - over 9¾" - 12" Tall. Blue Cloth Covered Boards.
