The interior of the book is crisp and clean/ The top corners of the first two pages have a corner crease, but there are no other marks or wear. The blue covers show light wear at edges and corners, but no damage or problems. The dust jacket, however, is only in Good condition, with a price-clip and visible chips and tears along the edges. The attached scan should give a better idea of condition. The jacket is now in a mylar cover. Synopsis: An early Canadian/British Columbia fantasy for children. " John and Firelei, two orphans, wander into the deserted streets of Old Town on Hallowe'en night. There, Pete, the Frozen Man, mistakes them for his own long-lost children, and takes them across the lake to his home. Before they get home again, the children have magical adventures, and go through the door in the mountain to the Valley At The Edge Of Time and finally bring back Pete's son and daughter.
