Jacket mildly edgeworn; front flyleaf ownership signature. A tight and nice first edition of this charmer in which illustrator Sloane illustrates the actual text of "a small, leather-bound, wood-backed volume" he unearthed in an old house with his delightful drawings of the farm life depicted and its tools and methods.
