First printed in New York in English 1958, as What Do You Say, Dear?, Joslin's book was printed in French in New York in 1966, and in Paris in 1979. This first printing in Spanish. It was later translated into Danish and Swedish. Hanrahan A32. A delightful book of etiquette for boys and girls, humorously illustrated by Sendak. A glossary of words at the rear of the book. Not a common Sendak title.
