Book #4 (or 5?) in the 10-book "Boys of the Royal Mounted Police" children's series, featuring Dick Kent, which told the adventures of the North and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. This is part of the Northland "series within the series," with the original publisher now switched to Saalfield. A First Edition (unknown printing, but lists 4 titles before this one on title page) from 1927, this small 12mo hardcover has dark green cloth over boards stamped with black design & lettering to front cover & spine. Condition is Near Fine: exceptionally bright & clean, binding strong & straight, pages heavily tanned, commensurate with age & paper quality. Very mild rubbing to corners & both ends of spine.
