Black cloth, gilt-lettered spine, a few small marks alongside back joint from slight jacket adhesion caused by water damage (see below), this fairly trivial in all honesty and otherwise fine. liv+400, 32 monochrome plates in two blocks ex-pagination; small quite faint sig. to front pastedown only fault hence qualified. Unclipped jacket front and spine clean but back has a brown water stain beside spine, faint except along edge, 1-3 cms wide and top edge a little rubbed and nicked (will add protective sleeve when ordered). Quite comprehensive coverage including symbolism in architecture, art and sculpture. 14 cm x 22 cm.
