Sobre este artículo
Heidelberg, Germany: Constantin-Film, 1968. Original German A1 poster for the 1968 German film. Artwork by Leduc.
From the collection of noted film historian Amos Vogel. Full provenance available.
An important work in the German avant garde cinema, made in a collage style, featuring newsreels and quotations from philosophers alongside the story of a failing circus whose owner, Leni (Hannelore Hoger), who must decide whether her dream of a new kind of circus is too optimistic. A symbolic representation of Kluge's own frustrations in trying to help stimulate the New German Cinema movement.
23.25 x 33 inches, folded. Very Good or better overall.
