Macdonald, 1982. 1st edition. Hardcover. Fine black cloth, silver spine lettering, nearly 600 pages in square binding, endpapers clean, pages also very clean, smidgen of light foxing down some leaves on the front text block. In a fine dustjacket, not price-clipped. Four long short stories, the first being the most famous, as the basis for the film The Shawshank Redemption.
