Inscribed presentation copy from the translator with a few manuscript corrections by Nesbitt. TPL 4313. Bayfield's St. Lawrence River Pilot was translated and published in three parts in Paris. This Canadian edition pre-empted the Paris edition in publishing the sailing directions for Newfoundland and Labrador, thus becoming the first French translation of Bayfield's coast pilot for these regions..
