Paris: L'Imprimerie de Rignoux, 1828. Pamphlet. Very Good. 4 p.; 25 cm. Caption title. "Académie Royale de Médecine" -- at head of title. Several ink marks on first page. Disbound from a collection of pamphlets owned by French homeopath Dr. Charles Ravel (1822-1887). The author, Julien Joseph Virey (1775-1846), was a French pharmacist and is credited with establishing the field of chronobiology. Louis Augustin Guillaume Bosc (1759-1828) was a French botanist, entomologist, and zoologist. In Very Good Condition: upper edge of pages slightly darkened; light foxing; lower corner of first leaf creased. Scarce.
