Glasgow: William Collins Book. Very Good. Decorative Cloth. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. c. 1846. Gilt lettering to decorative stamped cloth hardcovers. Some slight rubbing to covers, extremities. Spine somewhat faded. Short tear ito margin of final leaf of text, not affecting text. Otherwise a clean, tight and unmarked book. Very neat -- nicely preserved. Engraved frontispiece with tissue-guard. Contains his essays on "The Study of the History of Christianity" and "Geneva and Oxford" as well as "Lutheranism and Calvinism" among others. Rare. 360p..
