The book was left unfinished and completed to the settlement of the crown by the editor.A scarce volume. Small booksellers ticket from Seton & Mackenzie of Edinburgh at bottom of front paste down. Publishers green pebble grain cloth with blind stamped decoration to boards. Spine ruled and lettered in gilt. Coated brown endpapers. A few leaves showing very light foxing but overall a very near fine copy. The cloth binding is tight and clean and the gilt still bright. A lovely copy that looks unread.:
