Five Volumes in Two; contemporary half calf over decorated paste boards, the spines ruled and titled in gilt on labels, all page edges dyed red. 268 + 264 pp (Books One and Two in the first Volume); 276 + 235 + 176 (Books Three, Four and Five in the Second Volume). Title page of the first book printed in red & black. Ancient paper labels at head of spine panels with library numbers, a paper label over the gilt title label on the first volume with the numerals in ink atop the gilt, evidence of paper labels removed from near the spine feet, with some loss to the leather of Vol 2; Overall the bindings are sound and in excellent condition, the text is crisp and clean. An excellent set, all things considered.
