Chicago. 1865. Ephemera. Letter from Chicago based firm "Lamb & Harvey" from 1865, in very good condition. Black text printed on lightly toned paper folded in half, and was previously folded twice. Dated to January, 23rd 1865 this letter proves the "dissolution of copartnership" between P. B. Lamb and T. W. Harvey who owned and operated lumber mills in the Chicago area. Tarlington Walker Harvey was a successful businessman and in this letter "purchased all the interest of P. B. Lamb in the Planing Mill..." ; 1 pp .
