Sobre este artículo
Amsterdam, Netherlands: Uitgeverij Contact, 1952. Small (19 x 12 cm) glossy laminated paperback with stiffened covers, 96 pages including many black-and-white photographs of which many appear to be early 1950s postwar reconstruction progress and the bustling port;--- text in Dutch;---very gently used, tight in binding, light bumping around bottom of spine with some creasing to covers, but hardly a trace of shelf wear, front cover bright, clean and colourful in green with yellow and white lettering framing a photo of the port, tiny bookplate inside front cover designed by previous owner (Dutch-Canadian silhouette artist and graphic designer Hans-Detlev Voss who still lived and worked in The Netherlands during the 1930s/1940s) and his tiny ink numeral inside back cover, gift inscription or statement of ownership in ink on free front endpaper, otherwise very clean and unmarked throughout, pages fresh and white.. See also our listings for De Schoonheid van ons Land I Het Landschap, and for De Schoonheid van ons Land Drie Steden (Deel II: Amsterdam; Deel V: De Residente; Deel VI: Rotterdam), both also from Uitgeverij Contact but in oversized hardcover format, or check all of our Dutch language books by using the Keywords "text in Dutch". .
