Sobre este artículo
London: Herbert Jenkins,, 1968. First UK edition, first impression, presentation copy, inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper, "To Peter Lewis - all the best - from P. G. Wodehouse - Oct 12 1968". Lewis was a literary critic who interviewed the octogenarian Wodehouse for an article entitled "87 Today", published on 15 October 1968 in the Daily Mail. This copy of Do Butlers Burgle Banks, which was published the month prior, was likely inscribed on that occasion. Original green cloth, spine lettered in silver. With dust jacket. Spine cocked with small hole at foot, edges lightly foxed; spine panel faintly toned, creasing and nicks to top edge, unclipped: a very good copy in like jacket. Jasen 90a; McIlvaine A91b.
