Green cloth covered boards, scraped at spine head and tail, cornered to boards, some rubbing. Front board illustrated with phrase from the book. Front fold down promotes the " Prose works of Ethna Carbery". This was the pen name of Anna Johnston, who MacManus married in 1901. the front end paper tells Now Ready New Cheap Edition of " A Lad of the O'Friel's." viii 156 ii. Some offsetting, some toning, front spine cracked..
