Book is in good condition bound in green cloth with gilt lettering and a fine gilt blind stamp. Book has a weak binding and a partial split between the front paste-down and the FFE. This is the original edition complete with and unabridged, with the life and adventures of the author, now first written by John Camden Hotten ( the publisher). There are eighty full page illustrations drawn and coloured after the originals by T. Rowlandson. This book is a classic poem in the form of a play, rhythmically rhymed and fun to read. Book was published after 1872 as determined by examining a thirty page list of "very important new books Special list for 1872" at the rear of the book.
