In June 1996,the BBC started their range with Terrance Dicks series 'The Eight Doctors',a series of original adventures for the eighth Doctor,and Keith Topping+Martin Day's 'The Devil Goblins from Neptune',a series for past Doctors.The initial editor at the BBC was Nuala Buffini who oversaw the first six or so releases before leaving to join Hodder Headline,and Steve Cole took over the reins of the BBC range.Cole eventually left in 2000,to be replaced by Justin Richards.The BBC released two adventures/novels a month,except for December.
