New York: The Century Co., 1922. IINSCRIBED on the front endpage -"For Billie Hays on his seventh birthday, from Dad 12/11/22". From the estate of Will H. Hays, who managed Warren G. Hardings successful campaign for the Presidency of the U.S. and was subsequently appointed Postmaster General. After a year in that position, he resigned to become most famously known as the first President of Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America (MPPDA). His son, Will Hays Jr.(Billie) became an author and later on Mayor of Crawfordsville, IN. Book is about Very Good, cloth a bit soiled, toning to endpages, all photo illustrations present but two have come unbound and are laid in. RARE in the hardcover First Edition. . First Edition.
