Sobre este artículo

London: Westminster Gazette, 1896. Cloth. Very Good Indeed. 8" by 5". None. An excellent copy of this witty collection of sketches, signed by the author. The work was first published in the influential Liberal newspaper, the Westminster Gazette and later published in book form in 1894. Signed by the author to the half title: 'Yours very truly, Anthony Hope'. With the personal bookstamps of Frederick L. Lucas. Dolly Dialogues is a collection of a number of Hope's sketches all of which first appeared in the Westminster Gazette. The sketches act as important social commentary on a range of topical events within London. In a red cloth binding with gilt detail. Externally in excellent condition with just some slight bumping to the extremities and the head and tail of the spine. A few light marks to the board. Personal library stamp to front pastedown. Slight offsetting to endpapers. Internally firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean with just the odd spot, heavier to the first and last few pages and the fore edge. Signed by the author to the half title. Personal library stamp of Frederick L. Lucas to half title. Very Good Indeed
