Two hardbacks bound in red half leather over marbled paper on boards, gilt titles & decoration at spines, rubbed at edges and corners. Bindings do not quite match, and volume 1 has gilt page edges and 2 has marbling. Volume 1 has the armorial bookplate of Edward Cunard and marbled endpapers, 2 has plain endpapers and no ownership markings. [xii] + 706 & [xviii] + 772 pages respectively, and both volumes have plates and many drawings in the text by Tony Johannot and others. Heavy set, 3kg unpacked, so additional postage may be requested .
