Gift inscription (1902) inked on ffep. Top edge gold gilt. Deckle fore and bottom edges. Green cloth with gold lettering and black decorative motif on front cover and spine. Light shelf wear, very small scuff to corners. Binding square and sound. "Sir Horatio Gilbert George Parker, (1862-1932), known as Gilbert Parker, was a noted Canadian novelist and British politician. He traveled extensively in the Pacific, Europe, Asia, Egypt, the South Sea Islands and subsequently in northern Canada. This work is one of 23 volumes chronicling his travels.
