Black endpapers. All edges gilt. Black endpapers. In good condition. Some handling marks to boards, some rubbing to edges and ends of spine. Front endpapers cracked at front hinge. Neat inscription to verso side “Miss Anstey, In memory of Tarrant Gunville in 1896, W.H. Stilthink (?) Rector & Friend.” Some minor light foxing to coloured map at front, tape repair to split main fold. Small embossed orange slip at p.1. “Tarrant Gunville Rectory, Blandford.” A few handling marks to pages else a very good tight copy. 130pp. With large fold out map and b/w photographs. A brief history of Dorset is followed by descriptions of towns and villages and important buildings, with b/w photographs.
