Signed by John Ashbery on the title page and inscribed to a former owner, dated 1/7/70, pre-publication. Advance copy, with publisher's card with compliments of the author laid in Bound in publisher's black cloth spine over green paper-covered boards. Very Good with sunning to edges of boards, foxing and dust-soiling to textblock edge. In a Very Good dust jacket, unclipped, with wear to the extremities and a short closed tear to the bottom edge of the front panel, fading and scuffs to the spine panel, foxing to the front flap and blank verso. A nice advance copy, signed and inscribed by the poet.
