Pages and edges are clean, with blue top-stained page edges. Clean endpapers; no names, writing or bookplates. 207 pp. with index. Color frontispiece, 12 illustrations from drawings by Frank A. Wallis. Jacket is quite clean (slight age-toning), not price clipped (3.00 on front inside flap), unchipped, with very slight wear at top and bottom spine edges. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. Adventures of three men in a black rubber canoe, seven feet long by three feet wide, as they paddle, carry, or are swept by rapids down the Tiber 195 miles to Rome..
