Firmly bound with a slight forward lean, a few stray stains at the edges, former owner's name on the front endpaper, clean otherwise. The seventh Philo Vance mystery, adapted into the 1934 film starring Warren William. This copy comes with a supplied jacket from an early Grosset & Dunlap reprint.
