Written with the cooperation of the creator of Pern, Anne McCaffrey. This is the 1989 first edition from Del Rey, but a likely BCE (book club edition) due to no price on DJ & no statement in front matter, though 4th printing is indicated per number line). Oversized hardcover book is in Fine condition: completely clean & tight, pages white & unmarked. Virtually flawless! The unclipped DJ is downgraded to only Fair, however, due to heavy rubbing & wrinkling & many small chips/short tears to upper edge, both back & front cover, especially heavy at both ends of spine. Our photos depict the exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have!
