Carson (1852-1929) was a professor of law at the University of Pennsylvania, president of the American Bar Association, state attorney general, and president of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania. In Near Fine Condition: wrapper has minor loss at head of spine; starting to separate at tail of spine; otherwise, clean and tight.
