Rob Blumberg ( 1908- 2002) Was Born In Pennsylvania, Studied In N.Y. At The National Academy Of Design And The Art Students League, And In Paris At The Academie De La Grande Chaumiere. He Worked In New York In The 1930S, Moving To California In 1940. In 1950 He Opened An Art School In Westwood Which, For 25 Years Was The Largest Private Art School In The Area. Ron Co-Founded Artists For Economic Action, And As Chairman Worked Closely With State Legislators In Bringing California To The Forefront In Promoting Artists' Rights. His Work Is In Major Museums Including The Hirchorn In Washington, Dc, And Lacma, In The Executive Mansion In Sacramento, Ca.
