All edges gilt. 15 × 9cm, 24pp. Two short pieces from Charles Lamb, the first taken from Essays of Elia, the second from Last Essays of Elia, both being essays of strong emotional expression, blending humour, pathos, and nostalgia. Condition: There is light rubbing to the leather at the corners and spine ends but this is otherwise in very good condition. Neat previous owner's inscription to ffep.
