Crescent City: New Athenaeum Press, 1959. Hardcover. First Edition. Limited Edition of 100 copies. Octavo. 56pp. Bound in the publisher paper-covered boards. Signed and inscribed by the author on the endpaper: 'To a very dear friend, George Buckmaster, Best Wishes, Esther R. Cooper.' VERY GOOD in Good dust jacket. The book itself shows some rubbing with just a hint of loss at the front hinge, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards are bright and distinct. The dust jacket shows marginal shelf rubbing along the edges with several chips, lightly toned, otherwise is bright, colorful, and distinct. Cooper was a poet of Brunswick, Maryland who wrote of her locality including poems about the river, the canal, the railroad, etc. As pictured.
