Sobre este artículo

New York: Columbia University Press, 1961. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardcover, green cloth in publisher's non price-clipped dust-jacket. 167 pages. Illustrated with 16 half-tone images. First edition. Based on the lectures given at the annual George B. Pegram Lectureship series. the author approaches the question of 'scientific utopia' from the perspective of C.P. Snow's 'two cultures', stressing the duality of the two separate world-views and the danger inherent in one producing change in ignorance of the other. New York Times book-review clipping and one other laid -in loose, and with original receipt from 1961. Book is clean, square and unmarked but for a touch of wear at heel of spine. Dust-jacket edge-worn and showing old mild damp-stain at lower spine. Very good in a good dust-jacket. .
