Sobre este artículo
Boston : Lothrop Publishing Company , 1901. 1st Edition . Decorated Cloth. Near Fine. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Yohn, F.C.. Near Fine. Boston: Lothrop Publishing Company, 1901. First Edition. 12mo., red cloth boards with gilt and pastedown illustration on cover and gilt imprinting on spine, Top Edge Gilt, 362 pp. + [1] + 2 pp. ads. Frontispiece with tissue guard plus seven more Yohn illustrations. A scarce About Near Fine example; corners and spine ends just very lightly touched, one small spot on rear cover (see scans), early owner signature on ffep. Sharp, clean, bright and tight, qualities which are scarce in this first edition title. One of the prolific Irving Bacheller's best known novels, D'ri and I is a romance/ adventure tale of the War of 1812, told as the memoirs of Colonel Ramon Bell. Eight finely executed illustrations by F.C. Yohn enhance the story nicely. A stand-out copy. L-43n
