A signed first edition of Jack Higgins' exciting and thrilling novel set in Northern Ireland during peacetime, signed with a certificate of authenticity. The first edition, second impression of this work. Signed by the author to the title page, with a certificate of authenticity loosely inserted. The certificate is numbered 4316. In the original unclipped dustwrapper. 'Drink With the Devil' is set in both 1985 and 1995 in Northern Ireland, set before and after peace in the country. In 1995 a dangerous Irish prisoner in the USA escapes prison with the help of the mafia, and the IRA enforced turned British agent, Sean Dillon, is given the task of finding him. Written by Henry Patterson under the pseudonym Jack Higgins. Patterson also wrote under the pseudonym James Graham. He is best known for his novel 'The Eagle Has Landed'. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, fine. Dustwrapper with some very light edgewear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Small mark to page 312, with faint offsetting of the mark to pages 309-311. Near Fine
