Book plate of Adrian Homer Goldstone on the front pastedown sheet. Fine bright copy in a superb bright and colorful dust jacket with trivial wear to spine ends and corners. The story of an English spy in Germany during WWI that introduces Tommy Hambledon, of the British Intelligence Service. Due to the war Tommy suffers from amnesia, but that doesn't stop his uncanny ability to solve espionage and intrigue. Believed to be based upon the author's experiences during WWI and the period prior to the advent of WWII. An exceptional copy of a Haycraft/Queen Cornerstone title. There may be another copy as good as this copy, but none better!
