The American Antiquarian Society catalog record for this work give the pagination as "26, [2] p." and says "Text stops in midsentence on p. [27]." That missing page is supplied in a faintly printed facsimile, but legible. Sergeant is alleged to have solicited $2000 a year from applicants for the post of clerk, the money to be paid to a relative; and, in other ways here enumerated, to have misused his office to the detriment of the government, all while serving as Secretary of the Commonwealth.
