Sound and square binding in black, cloth-covered boards with paste-down illustration on upper board. Gilt titles still quite bright. One corner bumped and light wear to all corners. A few marks on the lower board. Corner creases on front free endpaper. Inside pages are clean and unmarked, with slight age toning. One colour plate has a small area of colour loss that blends in with the clouds. A story of the Revolutionary War. One of the Scribner's Illustrated Classics for Younger Readers. .
