Octavo. 287pp. Small owner label on front fly and Christmas gift inscription facing the half-title (see below), light foxing and wear, a couple of pairs of leaves opened a bit roughly, very good or better in a foxed and toned, good only dust jacket with small chips and tears and two internal dampstains that don't show through. The gift Inscription, dated 1935, states: "Dear Jack, The hero of this simple tale was my great-great-grandfather. I hope you will find it interesting.
