Sampson Low, Marston, Searle & Rivington, 1889. 2nd Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 289pp, previous owners bookplate to front pastedown, 25 tissue guarded plates. Dark Green boards with gold lettering and border, these are slightly rubbed and scratched. There is some damage and loss to top and bottom of spine which both have sections missing, approx 1cm by 2cm at base of spine and a strip 3mm deep across the top of the spine. Nice condition copy internally with no loose pages, all plates are present with tissue guarding in place, no spotting to text although rear end papers are slightly spotted, just one or two small dirty marks to page margins. Heavy book, please inquire for postage outside the UK. Photographs on request.
